PADI Tec Instructor Courses in the Philippines

How to become a Technical Instructor

We have a permanent team of Tec instructor trainers who conduct diver and instructor courses regularly year round. The busy 5 star IDC and Tec Rec center provides you with the ideal learning environment.

We have access to some fantastic deep and confined water sites, within a very short distance of the dive center. We have two purpose built instructor development classrooms with media connections, workstations and complimentary wifi access. Our gear storage and assembly area is just meters from the water and was designed with Tec divers in mind.

Invested in your development

We take a great deal of pride in these programs and want you to get as much from them as possible. With that in mind anyone who completes a certification technical program (tec 40,45,50 etc), including instructor programs, is welcome to join any future course we run. We do not charge you any courses fees for this, classroom sessions are free, for dives we only ask you to cover costs. Instructors returning for more experience are encouraged to participate in the training under supervision, a great way to broaden your teaching experience. PADI Sidemount Instructor

PADI Sidemount instructors are able to offer this course to divers of all different backgrounds due to its increasing popularity, not just with Tec divers, but recreational divers as well.

With its origins in cave diving sidemount was originally conceived by tec divers who wanted to squeeze themselves through restrictions that would be impossible with backmounted equipment. That same appeal will bring you Tec divers who would like to expand their experience by diving in caves and wrecks.

However the increased safety and comfort of having two tanks streamlined along the divers body is pushing this configuration into the world of open water recreational diving, giving the sidemount instructor an even wider audience.

During this program you will develop a thorough understanding of the standards, procedures and instructional tools required to teach the Tec sidemount course. You will participate in workshops covering classroom presentations, practical application and inwater training,
