The DSAT Apprentice Tec Deep Diver

The DSAT Apprentice Tec Deep Diver Course is a sub course of the DSAT Tec Deep Diver Course where divers can not meet the full Prerequisites for the Tec Deep Diver Course but would like to start Technical Diver Training.

Prerequisite:

• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• PADI Enriched Air Diver or equivalent certification
• PADI Deep Diver or equivalent certification
• A minimum of 50 logged dives, of which 10 dives were made with enriched air nitrox, 12 dives were deeper than 18 meters and at least 6 dives were deeper than 30 meters.
• Minimum age 18 years.

DSAT Tec Deep Diver

The DSAT Tec Deep Diver Course takes divers beyond the bounds of conventional recreational diving, into the realm commonly called " Technical Diving." Technical Scuba Diving is diving other than conventional commercial or research diving that takes divers beyond recreational diving limits. It is further defined as and includes one or more of the following: Diving beyond 40 meters, required stage decompression, diving in an overhead environments, accelerated decompression, and/or the use of variable gas mixtures during the dive. Technical scuba diving uses extensive methodologies, technologies and training to manage the added risk. Typically this means using complex equipment in situations where direct access to the surface is inaccessible due to a ceiling imposed by decompression, or other physical barrier such as that found in cave / wreck diving environments. Prerequisite:

• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent certification
• CPR and First Aid certification current within last 24 months
• PADI Enriched Air Diver or equivalent certification
• PADI Deep Diver or equivalent certification
• A minimum of 100 logged dives, of which 20 dives were made with enriched air nitrox, 25 dives were deeper than 18 meters and at least 15 dives were deeper than 30 meters.
• Minimum age 18 years.
  

DSAT Nitrox Gas Blender

DSAT ( Diving Science and Technology) An affiliate company of P.A.D.I

The DSAT Gas Blender Course develops the student's ability to competently blend enriched air nitrox using one or more blending methods available for the dive industry. Students learn Oxygen cleaning, Blending calculations and Blending techniques.

Prerequisite:

• PADI Enriched Air Diver or hold a qualifying enriched air certification from another training organization.
  Minimum age 18 years.

DSAT Tec Deep Instructor

The DSAT Tec Deep Instructor rating is available to any P.A.D.I Master Scuba Diver Trainer (or higher ) Rating that holds the following Prerequisite Qualifications. Our Technical Instructor Course is designed to meet the Prerequisite training required to meet any requirements to fulfill your dream of becoming a DSAT Tec Deep Instructor. Our Program is tailored to any shortfall you may have in meeting any of the Prerequisites below.

Prerequisite:

• PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (or higher) Rating
• PADI Deep Diver Specialty Instructor
• PADI Enriched Air Instructor
• DSAT Tec Deep Diver ( or equivalent )
• Logged dive verification of at least 270 dives with at least 25 staged decompression dives with a maximum depth deeper than 40 meters
• Peer review water skills
• Course assistance verification
• Tec Deep Instructor exams
• Have certified at least 10  PADI Deep Diver and or PADI Enriched Air Diver
• Minimum age 18 years.
