We are pleased to offer you AIDA Freediving training and Freediver certification programs in partnership with Freediving Philippines.
AIDA stands for Association Internationale pour le Développement de l’Apnée or in English International Association for Development of Apnea. AIDA was a leader in developing safety standards and regulated competition as the sport rocketed in popularity during the 90’s,
Safety, proper technique and informative training programs are the foundation of AIDAs courses, all of this delivered by experienced and accomplished Freediver trainers.
The courses are delivered in a handpicked selection of the best environments for your learning and progression. Our training pool is in an exclusive resort, our classroom is a modern, spacious area built with divers in mind and of course the open water training is conducted in the breathtaking backdrop of the Moalboal peninsular.
Courses are fun and flexible and adapted to suit divers of all abilities and backgrounds, you need to be comfortable around the water, in reasonable health and up for a challenge. Courses consist of both practical and theory elements, to get the most out of your time with us we provide advance home study materials which are reviewed with an instructor when you arrive.
AIDA Freediving Courses
We offer scheduled courses for AIDA 2 and 3, despite the name AIDA 2 is actually an entry level program, Level 3 for those wishing to continue their education. If you would like to do something else, please let us know, we may be able to organize a customized program for you.
AIDA Level 2
Included in the course are two theory sessions, a pool session and three open water dives. To successfully complete the AIDA 2 star freediver course you will have to perform a 2-minute breath hold, swim 40 m underwater with fins and dive to 16m in the open water
AIDA Level 3
Will help you improve your Freediving performance whilst advancing your safety and rescue skills. This course consists of three theory sessions, two pool sessions and four open water dives. To successfully complete the AIDA 3 star freediver course you will have to perform a 2 minute 45 second breath hold, swim 55 m underwater with fins and dive to 24 meters in the open water.
