Kawasan Waterfalls
We regularly organize a day trip to the Kawasan Waterfalls. Usually the boat leaves at 9:00 am. A boat dive along the coast of Moalboal is conducted, after the dive we continue our journey to the waterfalls. It takes about 30 min. to get to the Matutinao River where we go on shore and after a 30 minute walk through the idyllic tranquility of the jungle we arrive at the first and biggest waterfall, as high as 20 meters. Here we can refresh, swim and play in fresh and cool water of the waterfall. After a nice barbecue for lunch we relax and enjoy the scenery, swim some more or explore the other stages of the falls up in the jungle. Early afternoon we had back to the dive center, where we arrive around 4pm. There are also other possibilities to visit the Kawasan Waterfalls. One can rent a motorbike or tricycle for a small price. Or just hop on the local bus at the bus stop at Moalboal town.
